We went away for two weeks and my oil burner crapped out while I was gone. The house was 42 degrees when I got back. The temperature in my 75 gallon reef tank (that i've been working on for over 5 years) dropped into the 40's and almost everything died. All that's left are a couple of starfish from Honduras and a few urchins. |

i had a really nice goldfish named princess she was just a feeder fish
but she had such long be utiful fins and tail
but i think she was lonely
then
i got a little red eared slider..
thats a trutle
to anyone who doesnt know
and i made him a nice little styrofoam float
to float on
one moring i took a doubhle take
when i looked at princess
casue she had no fins and hardly any tail
and that damn turtle had eaten the flesh off her back
so i killed her to put her out of her misery
and i wanted to kill him to
but i couldnt
so i gave him to the woman next door
for her little boy
casue i couldnt stand to look at him
awhile later she said how sorry she was
casue the kid had cleaned his bowl
and put in hot water by mistake
and
i wasnt all that sad to hear that |

Sorry to hear about your fish denee, and your turtle. he can't help it, it's what turtles do. If anything, I've learned that it's our fault for putting two things together that will eat each other. You should be mad at yourself instead of the turtle :)
I'm thinking about turning it into a cuddlefish tank. could be a good change.
