Open the Profiles/Stats page
Search for "Michael" (no quotes, of course)
Click the link that says "Exact match: Michael".
That will open Michael's profile page.
Then click "Send Message to Michael".

if any, enhancements going forward, including such things
as making the scoring work correctly and faceoffs work ok,
... it is not just neglect that is the reason there are
no profile pictures.
At one time, someone posted as their profile picture a
copyrighted image (owned by Getty Images, I believe).
The owner and their lawyers were very aggressive about
the issue, threatening to kill the whole site entirely.
And, since Michael didn't want to have to be the Picture Police, he disabled profile pictures.
Once again, it was someone's thoughtlessness or silliness penalized everyone else.
